On-site fleet blasting for rental yards — rust removal, frame restoration, and full refurbishment between rentals.
Rental equipment takes a beating — excavators, aerial lifts, skid steers, trailers, and specialty attachments come back from job sites with rust, beat-up paint, and surface damage that accumulates rental by rental. Repainting over corroded or poorly prepped steel is money wasted. The coating won't hold, the rust comes back faster, and the equipment looks rough to the next customer.
Blasting Jack mobilizes to rental yards to blast equipment on-site. Booms, frames, counterweights, buckets, and trailers — we strip rust and failing paint down to bare metal so your paint or powder coat crew has a surface that will actually hold. We work around your rental schedule and can process multiple pieces simultaneously with our multi-setup capability.
Full fleet refurbishment — stripping an aging fleet down and repainting to look near-new — is one of the higher-ROI investments rental companies make before a resale cycle or remarketing effort. We've done batch fleet work where equipment cycles through blast and immediately to paint in the same yard, same week.
Equipment coming back from long-term rentals or heavy use often needs more than a wash. Blasting removes accumulated rust and failed coating so a new paint system can go on clean and last.
Booms, dippers, and buckets on excavators rust quickly from soil and moisture contact. We blast the boom arm assemblies, pivot areas, and bucket exteriors ahead of repainting.
Aerial lift booms, scissor frames, and platform decks rust from outdoor storage and heavy use. Surface prep restores these before paint — and makes the equipment presentable to customers again.
Flatbeds, lowboys, equipment trailers, and utility trailers accumulate rust on frames, decks, and running gear. We blast trailer undercarriages and decks before rust treatment and coating.
Compact equipment bodies, lift arm assemblies, and cab structures rust from outdoor storage. Blasting strips failing paint and corrosion for a repaint that will hold.
Before remarketing or auction, blasting and repainting aging fleet units recovers resale value. Clean, freshly painted equipment sells faster and commands better prices.
Yes — we mobilize to your location. We bring our blast equipment to your yard and work through units on-site. We need a work area with adequate space for blast media containment and equipment staging.
It depends on piece size and the amount of rust and coating to remove. With multiple simultaneous setups, we can move through a significant number of compact equipment pieces in a day. Larger excavators and equipment take longer. Contact us with your fleet composition and we'll give you a realistic estimate.
We provide the blast prep only. You handle coating application with your own crew or a paint contractor. We deliver bare, profiled metal ready for primer. Many rental companies coordinate their blast and paint on the same day in the same yard.
Yes. Large equipment — 50-ton excavators, crane boom sections, large loader frames — is within our capability. These take longer per unit, but the process is the same. We quote based on the surface area and condition.
